Celso batalha well, its a Pilot Program, its not institutionalized yet. Its just an attempt that we are trying to outreach to the community that serves our Community College. Celso okay, so if you look at enrollment in american universities, about 5 million of students are immigrants, or sons and daughters of immigrants. And thats where the numbers, about 30 of the population of the students in the university. If you look at california alone, the number jumps to 50 , which means if you go to the College Campus and you bump into two students, one of them will be a son or a daughter of an immigrant, or him or
When you ask somebody who is not from california what californias biggest industry is, they will often guess technology. Thats incorrect. They will say, its probably entertainment because they are thinking of hollywood. That is incorrect as well. The answer is just south of here. Its agriculture. Just south of Silicon Valley, you will find artichokes and lettuce and Strawberry Fields forever. Plenty wants to bring agriculture into cities with robotic farms inside perfectly controlled and with amazingly high yields. Nate story is the cofounder. Thanks for being with us. But of course, tuesday, march 3 is officially and that is sometimes i believe intentionally that message our primary election day. Damian so, because in the past, is put out there, that no election day was the big day for people like yourself, what you do, it doesnt make that much of a difference. And now youre saying its a month before, the day of, were trying to flip that narrative, and a month after. I they are really taking strids were trying to flip to take back their power. One is with more options of how to vote, not just vote by mail or on election day, but early voting. And i really hope that as election day arrives, right, Santa Clara County is joining the list of counties implementing the voters choice act. I mean, people already have their ballots. And as secretary padilla mentioned, so, voters in Santa Clara County will have the option of voting you know, we have vote centers.
