An official further added, “As per the initial proposal, a penalty of Rs 2 per square foot will be imposed if garbage is found. However, if this recurs for the third time, legal action will be taken against the owner, and the fine will be incorporated into the property tax.”
The last date to apply for the scheme is September 1. The allotment of plots will be done through lucky draw which will be organised on October 18, 2023.
