Supreme Court of India has by order dated August 24, 2009, in matter of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. & Ors. Vs. M/s. Raja Transport P Ltd. upheld Court must give full effect to appointment procedure set by parties in arbitration agreement before appointing arbitrator.
