Temples in Uttarakhand s Haridwar, Rishikesh and Dehradun have banned entry of ‘scantily-clad men and women’ and only women who have their bodies covered up to 80% can enter.
The announcement comes a day after more than 700 new infections were reported at the Kumbh Mela, which is currently being attended by thousands of devotees in Haridwar.
