Gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad s son Asad, wanted in the Umesh Pal murder case, was killed in an encounter with the Uttar Pradesh police in Jhansi on Thursday, officials said.
The AIMIM MP came down heavily on the BJP and accused it of targeting the Muslims and bulldozing their houses in all states where it is in power and conducting fake encounters for political mileage.
