A political action committee founded by state Sen. Rachel May and progressive leaders from central New York counties is endorsing three candidates in upcoming local Democratic primary elections.
The updates to the traffic patterns on Genesee Street in Utica will soon become permanent after the Utica Common Council approved the Complete Streets changes on Monday.
After two 90-day trials and some contentious debates, the Utica Common Council could not secure the votes to either make the complete streets concept for Genesee Street permanent or to revert to the original traffic pattern.
