beach. senator al franken offering a new apology in response to the most recent accusation of sexual harassment he faces. the minnesota democrat seeking forgiveness after a woman said he grabbed her rear while taking a photo with her at the minnesota state fair in 2010. this is the first claim of improper touching happened that after franken took office. saying in a statement, quote, i met tens of thousands of people taking photographs, often in crowded and chaotic situations. i m a warm person. i hug people. i learned i crossed the line for some women and i know that any number is too many. some women have found my greetings or embraces for a hug or photo inappropriate and i respect their feelings about that. franken has already apologized to a radio anchor who says he forcibly kissed and groped her in 2006 when he was a comedian in a uso tour. washington examiner writer and commentator, beckett adams.
