Olympic-sized dreams don t happen overnight.For Conestoga Valley junior Casey Kaufhold, they began at her family s archery ranges in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County. The degree of commitment is almost literally mind-boggling, coach Bryan Brady said.Those hours of practice at the Lancaster Archery Academy paid off.With Brady s help, Kaufhold earned a spot on the U.S. Olympic archery team and is now taking aim at a gold medal. I hope it means a great deal. I would love to see more people get involved with archery because it is an amazing sport, Brady said.At 17 years old, Kaufhold is already serving as an inspiration to budding young archers.Talia Moutzalias family and their friends were shopping at Lancaster Archery Supply, which is owned by Kaufhold’s father.
