Health Alert – U.S. Embassy Bangkok, Thailand (April 12, 2021) Location: Thailand   Although the government of the Kingdom of Thailand has not officially banned inter-provincial travel, 37 provinces have announced entry restrictions and will require those seeking entry to either monitor their health or self-quarantine for 14 days.  The Ministry of Interior has published a Thai-language summary of provincial entry restrictions at http://www.moicovid.com.  This information will be updated in real time. Restrictions may be implemented with little or no advance notice and can include a thorough inspection of travelers, mandatory quarantines, or outright prohibition on entry for non-residents.  These restrictions will make domestic travel between provinces increasingly difficult.
