Father of 2-month-old accused of shaking, seriously injuring infant, deputies say

Lysander, N.Y. A 27-year-old Lysander man has been accused of shaking and seriously injuring an infant, according to a news release from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department.
Cody Ordway, of Hillside Road in Lysander, has been charged with reckless assault of a child and endangering the welfare of a child, deputies said.
On Tuesday, detectives with the sheriff’s office assigned to the abused persons unit began investigating the case at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, according to sheriff’s office spokesman Sgt. Jon Seeber.
Bridges, a civil rights activist and bestselling author, is best-known for being the first Black student to attend the all-white William Frantz Elementary School.

All proceeds from the Father Daughter Ball benefit Upstate Golisano Children s Hospital in Syracuse, and both tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available online. Tickets for one couple cost $45, and each additional daughter costs $10.

Madison, NY After Aften Ford, her husband and their young children recovered from Covid-19 in November, they thought they’d put the virus behind them for good.
But the virus wouldn’t let go. Their youngest, 4-year-old Kaison, spiked a fever in late December, but doctors initially believed it was a separate virus or strep throat.
