The government of Uttar Pradesh in India is introducing teaching modules on artificial intelligence (AI) in madrasas as part of a pilot project. The aim is to provide students with knowledge of this emerging technology and align these institutions with mainstream educational developments. The government has created a website where information about AI, its impact on various aspects of human life, and employment opportunities are available.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that his government has created over six lakh jobs for youngsters in the past six years. He urged the new employees to work diligently to develop Uttar Pradesh and make it a prosperous state. Adityanath also highlighted the improved efficiency of the selection process for government jobs and mentioned that the state received investment proposals worth Rs 38 lakh crore during the Global Inventors Summit.
