The Commercial Court of Kyiv has recognised the termination of the contract of free use concluded between the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra (men's monastery) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) and the National Reserve Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra as legal.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is trying to drive a wedge between Russian and Ukrainian Christians by forcing the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra monks to join the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine, apparently on orders from his US consultants , Vladimir Legoyda, a journalist and member of the Moscow Patriarch Synod, told Sputnik.
The Ukrainian Orthodox Church is registered in accordance with Ukrainian law, its founder is the UOC Cathedral, and its religious center, like all governing agencies, is located in Kyiv, the UOC (MP) said, commenting on the decision of the Constitutional Court (CC).
