The apex court added that the Delhi high court had taken an "unduly restricted view" by not allowing the woman to undergo medical termination of pregnancy at 23 weeks citing that she was "unmarried."
A woman, who was denied permission to terminate her pregnancy at 23 weeks by the Delhi HC as she was unmarried, has moved the Supreme Court seeking relief.
