Researchers from the University of Florida and the University of New Hampshire presented work on an "invisible-finger" attack at Black Hat USA 2022 in Las Vegas last.
Ensign Savannah Turner of Gainesville, U.S. Coast Guard reservist and veteran, University of Florida Ph.D. student, and former UF IFAS Extension Agent, is the April 2021 Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Veteran of the Month. Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried made the announcement.
The Veteran of the Month program was established by Fried, shortly after taking office. The award recognizes veterans who have excelled in service to fellow Floridians through agriculture, consumer protection, or other means; and honors the contributions that the men and women in uniform have made to the state.
