Kopelnik said she hopes to bolster trust between students and UJC during her term, as well as improving the student body’s understanding of UJC by expanding the role of educators.
If we default on our responsibility to be careful stewards of the tradition of self-governance, we leave room for faculty and administrators to undercut the agency that students at the University have had for generations.
Students also voted to pass the referenda put forth by the Honor Committee, which outlines a multi-sanction system, one of the single largest changes to the Honor system since its adoption of a formal constitution in 1977.
Raza said that the Committee would evaluate these self-reports to determine the best path of action and whether the member could return to their position.
