Im one of those rare creatures that we profile in this book. The font is conservative professors on liberal arts campuses or intimidated. There is the sense that conservatives are moving into enemy territory. But that isnt what we found. We interviewed over 150 conservatives in the social sciences and humanities. And we found they tell us the universituniversity is a much me tolerant place than we sometimes think and then the rightwing critics of the university tell us it is.
