JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. – Jackson County United Way (JCUW) is again gearing up for its annual day of caring, and this year will mark the 25th anniversary.
Stephanie Strothmann, United Way Community Impact Director, is leading the staff to find projects and support volunteers for the event on May 11. Leaders on this year’s committee include Justin Amos and Chad Keithley.
JCUW said, “We know that Day of Caring is an important event to our community, and last year, due to the beginning of the health emergency, we were unsure if we would hold the event. We persevered and 2020 was a success. We are hoping to expand our groups in 2021.”
