It was a sad sight for many businesses on fulsome and 17th in the mission. Furniture and other goods damaged by heavy flooding. Sandbags werent enough to stop the waters from coming in. This morning, it was cleanup time before the next rain. This area is known for a poor drainage system. The recent storms have knocked out phone service to many customers. This Christmas Tree lot on 14th and mission streets hasnt had a working phone line since tuesday. Without a line, joe cant process any credit cards. His business has been affected. I have just been taking down credit card information and letting the people know that i will process it as soon as i have a phone line.
