Now to the coronavirus and so Many Americans asking if theyre safe even eating outdoors. It comes amid new speculation that the Coronavirus Infection rate could actually be as much as 2,000 higher than reported. I spoke earlier with dr. Gharahbaghian. As we reported, the cdc is now saying there could be 10 times more Coronavirus Infections across this country than reported. In some areas, that number could be 20 times more. What does this say about the spread of the virus, and does this mean the death rate is lower than we thought . We have special concerns about the power of Big Technology platforms but in general we think that a lot of the economic and social problems that we are experiencing in this country today can trace back or be exact exacerbated by the dramatic outsized levels of Corporate Power that exists in our economy today. Host how did you come to that view . Guest we looked around at the world essentially. If you look at markets. If you look at Market Structure you will find that whether it is large markets like media, telecom, healthcare, online retail, amazon for example, or even small markets like Peanut Butter and cheerleading and watch components and software you have seen that over and over a handful of businesses and handful of corporations have rolled up those markets and essentially act as governing agents for other actors in that market.
