New Delhi [India], May 30 (ANI): On the issue of some private hospitals giving packages for COVID-19 vaccination in collaboration with hotels, the Union Health Ministry said the move is against the guidelines issued for the National COVID vaccination programme and must be stopped immediately.
The Centre said this in a letter written to states/ Union Territories (UTs). It has come to the notice of Union Health Ministry that some private hospitals are giving package for COVID vaccination in collaboration with some hotels. This is against the guidelines issued for the National COVID vaccination programme. Vaccinations carried out in star hotels is in contrary to the guidelines and must be stopped immediately, Union Health Ministry Additional Secretary Dr Manohar Agnani state

Covid-19 Vaccination FAQs: No Vaccine Switching, Not For Pregnant Women, 18+ Yr-olds Only

Ahead of world s largest nationwide inoculation drive which is set to begin from January 16, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Thursday issued precautions and information about COVID-19 vaccinations. In its release, MoHFW said that the women who are pregnant or lactating currently should not be administered the vaccine shots as they have not been a part of any anti-Coronavirus vaccine clinical trial so far. Interchangeability of COVID-19 vaccines is not permitted, the release added.
