And after a year of appeals that went all the way to the state supreme court, tom foley was granted something most people convicted of murder never receive, a second chance. I was walking through the chow hall in prison, and somebody says, hey, tom, i saw you on the news. I said, really, what for . Well, they gave you a new trial. I said, what . Trial didnt change the minds of dars family. They remained convinced, not only did tom kill dar, he did so on the day of his sons tenth Birthday Celebration. You think toms cold blooded enough to do Something Like that to his kid . Yes. I think theres evil in him. Reporter prosecutor terri norris agreed. Who killed dar foley . There is nobody else. Im aware that the rsos were increasing physical security. They were engaged with training in the facility. They had run drills with the annex. General keith alexander, until recently, the head of nsa and of Cyber Command at the pentagon, has characterized the cyber theft of American Intellectual property as ill quote the greatest transfer of wealth until history. And of course, were on the losing end of it. But no estimate can fully capture the real impact of trade secret theft. When other countries and foreign businesses steal our trade secrets, they are stealing our ideas. They are stealing our innovation. Most importantly, they are stealing our jobs. In my own state of rhode island, we continue to face unexpectedly high unemployment despite having some of the most innovative businesses in the country. If we do not protect our businesses, we are letting that innovation go to waste and we are letting american jobs go overseas. In the past, some companies were reluctant to talk about this issue because no one likes to admit that they have been victimized. But many are not coming forward to speak out because they recognize how

Secretary kerry was involved in terms of some of the key meetings. I do think that the example i would agree with there was a special envoy for iran. His name was bill burns. He was in the system and he was not named. All of the authority he had the undersecretary for Political Affairs and also backing him up with a huge amount of senior attention. And i think that it was that model you have to look at. I just dont think that every situation in which the u. S. Can make a difference to have that kind of involvement for senior officials. But i think that it is a really important case. But we see this and other cases. You need to look at how to do it but there is a way of dealing with those issues through the double concept tha
