The Arizona Department of Transportation is making it easier to renew your vehicle registration or driverâs license.
Renewing a standard Arizona driver license or a commercial driver license can now be completed with a few clicks on a website.
And Arizonans can now renew their vehicle registration while shopping at Walmart.
License renewalAs Gov. Doug Duceyâs Executive Order on deferring standard driver license expiration dates ended on Feb. 28, the ADOT Motor Vehicle Division is giving many Arizonans the ability to renew their driver license online. Previously, renewals could only be processed during an office visit.

Through CheckFreePay from Fiserv, the Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division is giving customers another option to renew their vehicleâs registration.
âWeâre constantly looking for solutions that give customers more options to complete transactions with MVD at their convenience,â said MVD Director Eric Jorgensen. âCheckFreePay is another convenient, easy way to renew a registration that some customers will appreciate.â
In 2019, more than 1.5 million registration renewal transactions were processed at in-person locations (MVD offices, kiosks or Authorized Third Party offices) and CheckFreePay gives those customers another option to complete their business with MVD.
