Our Correspondent Imphal, Sep. 8 (EMN): The Manipur cooperation minister Nemcha Kipgen said that the proposal to have at least one good and efficient Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies (PACS) or Dairy or Fishery Cooperative Societies in each and every Panchayat will be taken up in Manipur. Speaking at the National Conference of State Cooperation Ministers in New Delhi, Nemcha Kipgen stressed on the strong need for Dairy and Fishery Cooperative Societies in the state. Nemcha also highlighted the various achievements and initiatives taken up by the Cooperation department in Manipur during the conference which was attended by Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation Amit Shah and Minister of State for Cooperation BL Verma. Continuing that the State has limited resources, she expressed the need to avail the various support available under the SAHKAR-SE-SAMRIDDHI Umbrella Scheme of the Ministry of Cooperation.
