The startup, founded in 2016, introduced its flagship high-performance electric motorcycle F77 in India in 2022. Now, with the launch of its more accessible F77 Mach 2, Ultraviolette plans to expand its retail presence outside of Bengaluru and foray into new markets overseas. By the second half of this year, it aims to achieve cash flow breakeven while continuing to invest in R&D and technology.
Electric bike maker Ultraviolette is set to begin deliveries of its bikes in European Union (EU) markets like Turkey, Spain and Germany from the second half of this year.
Ultraviolette F77 MACH 2: The F77 Mach 2 is the latest addition to Ultraviolette’s electric motorcycle line-up. Booking for it is open in 15 cities. Deliveries will begin next month in phases, the company said.
Ultraviolette: The Bengaluru-based startup launched the F77 electric motorcycle in 2022. In the following year it took part in EICMA Milan and showcased its F99 concept. The founders, Narayan Subramaniam and Niraj Rajmohan, believe that the script has started on a right note though volumes are too little to write about now.
