Met Office yellow weather warnings have been issued over the next few days with fierce winds due to hit the whole of England and Wales. Warning maps span the entirety of both countries, with up to 70mph winds forecast on Wednesday and Thursday.
A chart by Netweather shows lows of -4C stretch from parts of Wales to northern Scotland.
The west country can also expect temperatures to plunge to -2C.
By 12pm on Friday, WXCharts snow probability maps show there is a moderate risk of snow to the east of the UK.
The chart, which shows a mass of orange and red to the east of the UK, predicts up to a 90 percent risk of snowfall in the north east.

The early spring sunshine and mild temperatures seen over the past few days are set to come to an abrupt end this week, as a cold trough of air moves in from the north, followed by a second bout of low pressure. The latest weather charts forecast the mercury is set to plunge to lows of -5C from late Thursday. The chilly conditions also brings an increased risk of snow, with parts of the UK forecast for some wintry showers.
