Next, more than 20 officers in military garb, with weapons drawn, entered screaming at Williams, her friend, Roscellus Carter, and Williams’ 10-year-old son inside the house at 2801 Linn St., according to the suit in U.S. Middle District Court. Williams on behalf of herself and her 10-year-old son along with Carter accused Lycoming County Det. Tyson Havens and 20 unnamed police officers in the civil action alleging their rights of illegal search and seizure were violated along with other constitutional infringements. They claim in the suit the police haven’t given them a reason for the raid.

Libby Williams on behalf of herself and her 10-year-old son along with Rocellus Carter made the accusation in a lawsuit filed Tuesday in U.S. Middle District Court against Lycoming County detective Tyson Havens and 20 unnamed officers. The lawsuit says that at about 5:30 a.m. Sept. 29, police in fatigues kicked in the front door of their Linn Street home, threw a flash grenade and stormed into the house with weapons drawn and throwing more flash grenades.
