301 in palmetto. Police there say the guy got into a road rage incident with another vehicle. And fired shots at that vehicle in palmetto. While the suspect continued south on u. S. 301, figured he was far enough away, it was safe to pull into the 7eleven for coffee, by then Palmetto Police alerted Manatee County deputies to be on the lookout for the car and a deputy happened to be at the same intersection at the 7eleven. Got out of his vehicle, questioned the driver and detained him until police arrived. The victims werent actually shot but you can imagine the terrifying and rattling morning to have been fired at, and bullets lodged into their vehicle.
