TVS Motor Q2 Fy24: The company’s operating EBITDA grew by 22% to INR 900 crore for the second quarter of 2023-24 as against the EBITDA of INR 737 crore in the second quarter of 2022-23, the company said.
TVS Motor Company has reported a 440% YoY increase in its electric vehicle (EV) sales in August. The companys overall sales also grew by 4 per cent increasing from 3,33,787 units in August 2022 to 345,848 units in August, 2023.
TVS Motors will invest Rs 3,900 crore over the next four to five years to boost its green portfolio, just as the company develops an all-new petrol and electric platforms with BMWs Motorrad for the Indian and international markets, said Sudarshan Venu, MD of TVS Motors. The company is eyeing a larger share of business from global and electrics.
TVS Motor Company unveiled its flagship electric two-wheeler, simply called TVS X, at an event in Dubai on August 23. Customers can pre-book the scooter for a refundable amount of INR5,000. Deliveries will start in India around Diwali.
