The US Army faces delays in developing its Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft due to engine technology but is working on developing its weaponry systems and critical open-system modular architecture to mitigate schedule losses.
The US Army's UH-60 Black Hawk utility helicopters will experience a two-year delay in receiving the next-generation engines due to supply chain and manufacturing issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, pushing back the initial operational capability with ITEP in the UH-60s aircraft to the fourth quarter of FY27.
