One dead, two injured in altercation between neighbors in midtown

TUCSON (KVOA) - The man who was killed in Tuesday s altercation between neighbors in midtown was identified by Tucson Police Department Wednesday afternoon.
According to TPD, 50-year-old Eric Wilson was pronounced dead near the 3900 block of East Pima Street near Alvernon Way at around 6:45 p.m. after he was found with signs of blunt force trauma.
After further investigation, TPD determined that Wilson was involved in an altercation with two male neighbors. Police said during the altercation, the 50-year-old produced an edged weapon.
Wilson reportedly severely injured the two men before they were able to subdue the 50-year-old.
