Two state champion wrestlers from separate local towns and teams are collaborating together to bring a wrestling camp called the “Cowboy Clinic” to Soda Springs May 31-June 1.
Illinois State Police investigated an accident Friday morning that resulted in the death of an Illinois man. The accident occurred on I-64 eastbound at milepost 128.5 in Gray Township in White County. According to police, 45-year-old Aaron K. Enoch of Pickerington, OH was driving a semi in the right lane of the interstate and a pedestrian was walking in the same area. For unknown reasons, the pedestrian stepped into the lane of traffic directly into Enoch’s semi. The pedestrian was identified as 36-year-old Dustin T. Gregory of Lovington, IL and was pronounced dead at the scene. Enoch was hurt in the accident bur refused treatment. The accident occurred just before 3:50 Friday morning.
