what if you were telling your son or daughter if they were in hawaii or on the west coast. turns out my son is in los angeles. i told him where he is which is he is probably about five to 10 miles inland, i don t think he is at risk are. but if he was close to the coast i would tell him it would probably be best to drive inland if he can. as far as hawaii is concerned, they could easily see four or five feet tsunami there. i often stay at a hotel in maui that has a tsunami wall along it, and that wall is probably 10 feet high. i think that place is probably okay, but it is frightening. these things have enormous destructive power. the people along the coastline of hawaii or anywhere near the shores of any of the hawaii an islands you suggest they move inland quickly? they need to get uphill.
