TRUMANN, Ark. (KAIT) - Trumann School District held their COVID-19 vaccine clinics Thursday.
The clinics were held at all three schools to ensure teachers were able to attend the event.
Dozens of teachers were lined up outside Trumann High School, anxiously waiting to get their COVID-19 vaccine.
The process was relatively quick, with each teacher taking 15 to 30 seconds to get their shot.
Dana Bingham, a Trumann High School math teacher, says that she was excited that the day has finally come.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - On Thursday and Friday of next week, the Trumann School District will transition to blended learning so that teachers and staff can participate in an on-site COVID-19 vaccine clinic. One teacher got her shot early and shared her experience.

TRUMANN, Ark. (KAIT) - Despite an uptick in COVID-19 cases, several schools have returned to in-person classes.
Teachers and students at Trumann High School say they are excited to be back, and want things to get back to normal.
Dana Bingham teaches high school math teacher. She believes the school district is doing everything to ensure safety, including creating seating charts to ensure students are socially-distanced in the classroom.

TRUMANN, Ark. (KAIT) - Around this time of year, many kids are excited about what they will receive during the holidays; however, the students at Trumann School District are taking time to give.
They’re spreading a little Christmas cheer by dedicating the whole month of December to giving back.
Each campus selected a charity to sponsor.
The elementary school and Pre-K are donating to the Trumann Food Pantry, the middle school is helping the Stepping Stone Sanctuary homeless shelter, and the high school is collecting funds for Make-A-Wish.
