A pharmacy in Grosse Tete and a clinic in Plaquemine will be added to the growing list of COVID-19 vaccine providers across the state, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.
Doc Your Dose Pharmacy, 17275 La. 77, is the latest addition to the vaccine locations across Iberville Parish, along with Reddy Family Medical Clinic, 58725 Belleview Rd., in Plaquemine. Other sites include Goudeau’s Pharmacy, 57930 LaBauve Ave., in Plaquemine, St. Gabriel Health Clinic, 5760 Monticello St., and Walgreens Pharmacy, 24555 La. 1, in Plaqjemine.
Last week, 406 vaccine providers across the state received very limited doses of COVID vaccine.
These providers – including 143 chain pharmacies, 118 independent pharmacies, 55 hospitals, 28 community health centers (including 23 federally qualified health centers, or FQHCs), seven rural health clinics (RHCs) and an additional 55 healthcare sites represent all nine public health regions and 64 parishes of the state.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - On Thursday and Friday of next week, the Trumann School District will transition to blended learning so that teachers and staff can participate in an on-site COVID-19 vaccine clinic. One teacher got her shot early and shared her experience.
