Metro transit officers arrested him this morning and he is accused of making threats against stations buses, trains for the past five months. All of those threats turned out to be false but some had some big impacts. January he called 911 calling people from france saying he planted bombs around the potomac metro station. The station had to be shut down and was swept for bombs. Two days later, police say he called again, threatening to take hostages on a metrobus. Kill them if he wasnt paid a 15 million ransom. Reporter jim pat, guilty on all 30 counts, including the 17 which carried with them the possibility of the death penalty. That guilty verdict now triggering the next phase in this trial, which is the penalty phase. The jury of seven women and five men deliberated for just over 11 hours over the last couple of days before reaching their decision this afternoon. It was announced and they were released by the judge. They will return for the penalty phase expected to start sometime early next week. What will we see in that phase . More testimony. Victim here as dr. Bonnie black. Shes a 42yearold psychologist who does contract work for the fbi. Shes the mother of two children, a 5yearold girl and a 3yearold boy. This morning around 7 50 her children in their pajamas were in the street in front ever the house, and they were distraught. A passerby stopped by to console them, kauld the police. And when the cops got to the scene they found dr. Black dead inside. It appeared that her children may have witnessed this murder . We dont know. Both children have been transported to Child Protective Services by Arlington County police at this time. You know, we dont know if were going to interview them right away, or if theyre capable of being interviewed about this very traumatic event. Neighborhood. Weve been here the last few days and this is definitely a very different feel here at west north avenue and pennsylvania avenue. The first thing thats different is now traffic can actually get through this street. This is the street that was closed just yesterday. The cvs that was burned down is right down there on the corner. There are now police who have moved from blocking the street and to standing along the street here guarding the businesses here. Its just a very different kind of feeling. Folks trying to get back to their regular days here in this section of baltimore. But this is what it looked like outside of Douglas High School today. It let out this was the first time being back in session since mondays riots. All of the students tell me that it was a very different kind of feeling leaving out of their school and then seeing right across the street at the Mondawmin Mall a large police presence. They had the National Guard there, also armed Baltimore Police ther
