Akshaya Tritiya 2021 falls will be observed on May 14 (Friday). The word Akshaya means ‘endless’ and Tritiya means third. According to the Hindu calendar (Hindu Panchang) it falls on shukla paksha (waxing phase of moon) during the month of Baishakh which corresponds to the month of April/May. This day is ruled by the preserver god, Vishnu. Hence, the benefits of Jap (chants), dan-punya (donations) are never-ending which leads to unending prosperity.
