CAMBRIDGE, MD.- Behind three interceptions by Shareef Curry and two touchdowns on the ground from Graham Hadaway, the Easton Warriors defeated Cambridge 24-0 to finish the season at 5-0. The loss drops the Vikings to 4-2 to end the spring season.
It was a rematch of last seasons instant classic, a double OT 40-34 Easton victory to end the regular season. The Warriors came into the afternoon sitting at 4-0 and the only undefeated team in the Bayside. The Vikings at 4-1, their only loss a tough one to Kent Island in week three.
It was a defensive affair early, the teams trading interceptions. Cambridges Tayon Fletcher picking off Ryan O’Connor on the games opening drive, then Shareef Curry stepping in front of a John Henry pass in the back of the end zone for a touchback.
