TROY, NY - The Valleycats did not have a lead over the Washington Wild Things all night, at least until the bottom of the tenth inning. We got a couple big home runs and a big hit by (Denis) Phippsy. It was a so-so start by Josh (Hiatt), but the bullpen came in and did a great job and we kept ourselves in the game, said Valleycats manager Pete Incaviglia.
After a tough loss on Thursday, Tri-City stuck it out on Friday night and got a 5-4, 10-inning victory.

Washington went up 2-0 in the top of the third, with a pair of home runs from Hector Roa and Gabe Howell. The Valleycats got one back in the bottom half, with Keaton Weisz driving in Oscar Camos on a base hit. In the bottom of the fourth, Nelson Molina doubled to get things started for the Cats and then Willy Garcia drove him in, tying the game.
TROY, NY - It was a scorching hot afternoon game for the Valleycats on Sunday afternoon, as they looked to avoid a sweep and break a seven game losing streak. I think this is a win that we needed to get us back on track, said Tri-City closer Trey Cochran-Gill, who came in to earn a two inning save in the Valleycats 4-2 win over the Jackals.
With the win, they avoided being swept by New Jersey and snapped their losing streak.

Denis Phipps got things started for the Cats in the bottom of the first inning, as he hit a home run for the second straight day. The two-run shot, that stayed just inside the foul pole in left, provided an early lead for starting pitcher Parker Kelly.
