TROY, NY - The Valleycats did not have a lead over the Washington Wild Things all night, at least until the bottom of the tenth inning.
"We got a couple big home runs and a big hit by (Denis) Phippsy. It was a so-so start by Josh (Hiatt), but the bullpen came in and did a great job and we kept ourselves in the game," said Valleycats manager Pete Incaviglia.
After a tough loss on Thursday, Tri-City stuck it out on Friday night and got a 5-4, 10-inning victory.
