Construction of the new Adventure Playground on Quaker Meetinghouse Road in Sandwich is set to begin next week and might be complete as early as next month.
Upgrades and renovations are underway for several recreation facilities throughout Sandwich, including new playgrounds, bathrooms and shade structures.
The Sandwich Recreation Department is saying goodbye to its assistant director, Tricia C. MacDonald, who has been with the department for more than 10 years.
