for the family of a pizza delivery man who was murdered just days before his son s first birthday. three men were arrested. good evening, i m jim vance. doreen is off tonight. investigators say the delivery man was apparently set up, called to the area so they could rob him. the suspect or the victim, that is, is paul bennett. the three men arrested killed him and got away with only $13. chris gordon has our report. aww. reporter: emanuel wright bennett climbed into his mother s arms. he won t get to celebrate his first birthday with his father who was working two jobs to give his little boy a party. paul bennett was killed making a domino s pizza delivery. three suspects have been arrested. 22-year-old ricardo barton, 23-year-old desmond garner and 22-year-old greg starks iii. i am so glad. i am at peace now that they are caught and justice is going to be served. reporter: the suspects are being charged with first-degree murder and robbery. they stole a pizza, chicke

are folks just too busy to care? only on 9 we talked to a man who says a life could have been saved if more people were willing to help. reporter: imagine going about your routine commute on the metro and you come across a man collapsed on the ground except no one is stopping to help. that s exactly what one man says happened here this this metro station. people did not take the time or just stood and stared. reporter: he was one of three people who stopped to help a man ho had keeled over and fallen to the ground. according to him others at this metro station just watched and walked right over him. i was concerned that was it that they didn t want to stop or were they pretending that they didn t see him. reporter: the man said he was stepping off the train walking off and as soon as he got off he saw the collapsed man. i immediately fell to the ground and said, sir, are you all right, are you okay? can i help you and he was not. reporter: both metro authorities
