Hello and welcome to world news today. Ahead of the uns Climate Conference on monday, scientists have warned the impact of Climate Change is already hitting harder and sooner than expected. A report compiled by the World Meterological Organisation says levels of Greenhouse Gases in the atmosphere are reaching new highs. And the world is heading towards three degrees of warming by the end of the century. Ive been speaking to the head of the organisation, who told me things are looking grim. Unfortunately, we have been the messengers of bad news. Global emissions have grown by 2. 1 and this was the case in 2017 and we have been breaking records in main Greenhouse Gas concentrations, carbon dioxide, which is the most important one and also methane and nitrous oxide.
