Were following developing news right now out of san jose where the city council has taken a crucial vote which could determine whether thousands of city workers will go on strike, which was set to start today. The city council has approved an agreement, will have the tails when theyre released in just a few minutes from now. But it held a closed door meeting this morning to review and vote on the conceptual terms of an agreement reached yesterday between the city and two labor unions. A three day strike was temporarily put on hold pending the outcome of the councils decision on the terms. Now, the workers have been working without a contract since the end of june.
