Inmate sentenced for involvement in Bucks County Prison drug ring
A Philadelphia man who helped coordinate an alleged drug ring in Bucks County Prison will spend up to nearly six additional years in prison.
On Thursday, Vincent McCandless Sr., 35, pleaded guilty to possessing contraband and conspiracy to commit that offense. Both are felonies.
He will spend 35 to 70 months in state prison. That will run consecutively to his current prison sentence of 4½ to 10 years.
Court records show he pleaded guilty to illegally carrying a firearm, out of Bensalem, in May 2019. He is currently serving his prison sentence at a state prison in Huntington County.
