Belfast violence: Douglas Ross condemns Northern Ireland violence amid grilling on post-Brexit trade rules

DOUGLAS Ross has condemned the shocking further violence on the streets of Belfast as he was quizzed about post-Brexit trading arrangements that have created economic barriers between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK. The street disorder that has flared in various parts of Northern Ireland for more than a week can be attributed to a multitude of factors. At its heart is loyalist anger at an Irish Sea border. This new Celtic Protocol  could meet the needs of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the UK and the EU in one fell swoop and give both UK nations the best of all worlds.
