Fred Rogers said his mother told him that in times of trouble and despair to âlook for the helpers.â During the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been many helpers â from doctors and nurses risking their lives caring for patients (âCOVID-19 Heroes,â pages 12-28) to grocery store employees, farmworkers, law enforcement officers, delivery drivers and other workers for whom staying home wasnât an option.
