ANN ARBOR, MI - The University of Michigan will offer most of its classes in-person for the fall semester, officials announced Friday.
Residence halls also will be open at nearly 80% capacity, while in-person dining will be available, UM President Mark Schlissel said during a COVID-19 campus update on March 12.
The increase in on-campus activity is based on the presumption that all faculty, graduate student instructors and staff who wish to be vaccinated against COVID-19 will have access to a vaccine prior to the start of the fall semester, and that a significant number of students will have been vaccinated as well, Schlissel said.

ANN ARBOR – The University of Michigan has deactivated Mcard access to non-residential buildings for 375 undergraduate students after they failed to comply with the school’s mandatory COVID testing requirements.
