FSU S DAVIS, LINDFORS WIN ACC PERFORMER OF THE WEEK HONORS

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – An ACC record in the men’s triple jump and a trio of No. 1 national rankings highlight the Atlantic Coast Conference weekly outdoor track and field honors for April 18. ACC Men’s Co-Field Performers of the Week Russell Robinson, Miami Jeremiah Davis, Florida State Robinson posted the nation’s No. 1 triple jump for the second week in a row, and this time set the ACC record with a distance of 17.12 meters (56-2) at the Mt. SAC Relays. Robinson, a native of Windermere, Florida, topped the previous mark of 17.08 meters (56-0) set by Virginia’s Jordan Scott at the 2019 ACC Championships. Florida State’s Davis also posted a nation-leading mark for the current season in the long jump with his mark of 18.19 meters (26-10.5) in the Invitational Division at the Tom Jones Memorial. PATRICK DONNELLY NAMED ACC MEN S TRACK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK

GREENSBORO, N.C.  -  Florida State distance runner Patrick Donnelly was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Track Performer of the Week the ACC announced Monday. Donnelly, a redshirt freshman from Alexandria, Va., led a 53-man field in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:15.81 at the River City Spring Break Classic hosted by North Florida. FSU’s Coleman Cronk finished second in the same race with a time of 14:18.87 and Paul Stafford was fourth at 14:24.00. The Seminoles host the FSU Relays this Thursday and Friday at Mike Long Track in Tallahassee, Fla. and several of the Nole distance group will compete in the Raleigh (N.C.) Relays on the same days.
