Lawyers for Laurentian University say insolvency proceedings are about whether the school can be ‘saved’ and that politics should play no role in the process.
“With respect, this is not a political issue,” D.J. Miller said during a hearing on Wednesday before Superior Court Chief Justice Geoffrey Morawetz. “This proceeding is about whether or not Laurentian University can be saved. This is not a platform for political or policy platforming to take place.”
