Douglas County Adds To Forest With $180,000 Purchase
Wisconsin s largest county-owned forest is about to get a little bigger. Douglas County is adding 200 acres of additional forest land in the Town of Wascott - a deal that will set the budget back by $180,000. The parcel of land was one that was familiar to country forest managers. It sits adjacent to other forest land that Douglas County already owns.
